Pictures and videos for the 2001 season at Hartsel, CO with Tripoli Colorado. These include my level 1 and level 2 cert flights. Due to the Aerotech fire late in 2001, I did not fly during the 2002 season. Here in Colorado there was also a fire ban statewide for the entire summer and fall. To get to Hartsel download this PDF. They are just east of Fairplay off hwy 24 heading toward Colorado Springs.
May 2001
Here are some videos from one of my first launches at Hartsel, CO. I believe these are encoded with MPEG2 which may require a player that can play MPEG2 videos. Please note this was my first time video caamer and rockets as well as encoding. They get better over time. I did not have batteries for the digital camera on this trip so I do not have any pictures from the days launch.

Johnny Bravo.mpg 2nd Flight. Johnny Bravo goes up on an K1100. It was a great flight until the drogue ejection charge was not enough to separate, so the drogue chute never came out.
