I wanted to build this rocket ever since I saw it on the RDS web page. I like the way it looks and it is a good size project. I have ordered all the parts and I'm gathering as much information as possible to build this with out buying the kit. This is a 12 foot tall two stage rocket with a 4 inch body diameter. It was made to carry small projects to high altitude such as cameras, etc.
I plan on flying it with two 38 mm motor for the first time out, then two 54 mm motors. I haven't picked which ones yet. I have modified it somewhat in that it is a little taller and will be built different from stock. This should be a crowd pleasing rocket. Please note the RockSim file is not complete yet. I still need to add some things and make some changes. I have simmed some of these flights with a couple of my motors to over 35,000 feet. You can bet I will be using a GPS tracking device to find this one. I have the parts, but this project is on hold due to my experimental motor work that I am doing.
