Most of the parts used to build this rocket were bought on-line. Some of the items came from some left over parts from another project. I had two 3.9-inch LOC tubes and a 3.9-inch PML nose cone. The motor mount is a PML 3-inch tube and 6 PML 3.9-inch to 3-inch centering rings. The fins where custom cut from 1/2-inch plywood using the RockSim template. The bulkheads was made from 1/2-inch plywood. I have two small U-bolts and two eye-bolts for and other miscellaneous hardware. The launch lugs are 1/4 rail guides I picked up from 42nd dimensions (http://www.42nd-dimension.com/rocketry/railbuttons.html). I made the 140-inch main parachute out of 2.5 oz nylon with 3/16 inch braided nylon cord. The drogue chute is 48-inches made from 2.5 oz nylon with 1/8 braided nylon. Both shock cords are a 1 inch tubular nylon. The main cord is 30 feet and a 25-foot piece for the back half of the rocket, I picked up the chute nylon material at Wal-Mart on sale and it only cost me less than 6 dollars to make. The tubular nylon was purchased at REI outdoor stores for $0.22 foot, cut and sewn by me.
