This is a custom thrust stand that I built for testing my rocket motors. This was to be a inexpensive project as I used stuff I had around the house. The frame was giving to me for free. It was used to test model airplane motors and wasn't being used. Since I have several sizes of motors that I build and test, I wanted to make a stand that could test different size motors so I made this stand with several different motor configurations in mind. It can hold up to 4 motors at one time and hold three load cells and one pressure transducer. The sizes it can handle ranges from 29mm up to 76mm. I have used it a few times and need to make a few changes but all in all it came out very good. It has since been modified.

I rebuilt and modified thrust stand. I made several modifications including using a brake cylinder and pressure transducer to cut down on motor cato's blowing load cells. They are not as accurate as a load cell, but they are very close. These pictures show some of the changes I have made including shorting the stand up which also reduced the weight.
